A Fair Warning

“A fair warning” is Robin Jamkatel’s exploration of the American landscape in relation to his birth country of Nepal. With his homeland currently going through both industrial and infrastructural development, he cannot help but see America as the blueprint of where his country is headed with their current state of construction. He has dedicated his camera to photograph the possible negatives of restructuring a once natural world for progress. As a fair warning to his people to not completely follow in America’s footsteps, he aims to inspire his viewers to think about how we construct and reconstruct our environment as well as how we can carry out these processes in a more thoughtful and environmentally friendly way.
